Ada Lovelace

The Center for the Promotion of Science in Belgrade invited me, among other artists, to illustrate one page of their New Year calendar. I was given Ada Lovelace as the theme - her life and legacy as a programmer and visionary thinker.

 

Ada Lovelace, a 19th-century mathematician, is widely regarded as the first computer programmer. Long before modern computers existed, she envisioned that machines could go beyond calculations and create patterns - even art. Her ability to see future possibilities deeply inspired me while working on this piece.

 

Through this illustration, I wanted to honor her brilliance, imagination, and courage to think beyond the limits of her time.
